This month begins are first set of career awareness lessons for grades K -5th. Students will have the opportunity to research a career in one of the grade-specific clusters. Career development is a vital part of one’s educational career and is a school- wide initiative. Individuals define and re-define career-related choices and outcomes in a life-long process. House Bill 713 mandates a minimum course of study in career education in grades K-12. Social skills and the development of workforce readiness behaviors are crucial in career development.
