Students who are taught to be responsible and accountable for their choices and actions develop a greater sense of self-worth and confidence in their ability to make right choices. They will receive the satisfaction of knowing that they are dependable, and trustworthy people who take responsibility for their actions. When the concepts of responsibility are fully taught, students will have a greater understanding and appreciation for the value of responsibility in their individual lives and society. Together, we can teach our students to be responsible people, capable of making decisions that will support their positive, moral growth and character development. Take the time to talk with your child about what they have learned about responsibility!
